In the quest to develop the perfect sleepwear, we struggled to find the perfect fabric. We wanted to develop a range of pyjamas based on the principles of suiting and Savile Row Tailoring to create the ultimate 'His Shirt For Her' in the form of pyjamas. We quickly realised that men's shirting isn't comfortable to sleep in and we couldn't quite find any fabrics that we liked. So we decided to develop our own line of luxury bespoke fabrics. Our vision was stylish, tailored pyjamas that you could feel proud to be seen in but soft enough against your skin that it didn't compromise on your beauty sleep!
Wanderluxe fabrics are made from natural fibres - a Cotton Modal blend. Natural fibres are hypoallergenic so they won't irritate sensitive skin or cause allergies. Their lightweight properties are also excellent at wicking moisture away from the body keeping your body feeling cooler and more comfortable.
Without getting too technical, Modal fibres are extracted from sustainably sourced beech wood by an environmentally responsible integrated pulp-to-fibre process, which is self-sufficient in energy and recovers co-products from component parts of the wood. This flexible fibre is renowned for its exceptional softness, which is why we use Modal. It is what makes our fabric so unique and fit for purpose, and not to mention being ethically and sustainably made.

The Cotton keeps the structure of the tailored shirt, while the Modal keeps the fabric super soft and comfortable for sleeping and lounging in.
