Our Story (so far)
Wanderluxe is a female-founded luxury Australian sleepwear label that originally started as a simple mission: to craft the perfect ‘his shirt, for her’ in PJ form.
Today, Wanderluxe Sleepwear is stocked by David Jones, Myer, and The Iconic, supported by our flagship boutique on High Street, Armadale, Melbourne, and featured throughout Australia’s luxury hotel sector. We work closely with leading hotels including W Melbourne, W Brisbane, The Langham Melbourne, The Royce, Lancemore Group, and Mitchelton Wines, creating garments that reflect refined living and everyday ritual.
Over the years, Wanderluxe has collaborated with esteemed partners such as Elle MacPherson, Kate Waterhouse, YSL Beauty, and Jo Malone London, and has built a loyal customer base who value understated luxury, longevity, and thoughtful design over trend-led fashion.
Meet the founder
Sherri Kiernikowski is the founder and creative director of Wanderluxe Sleepwear. Raised within her family’s suiting business, Sherri developed an early appreciation for craftsmanship, precision, and the timeless principles of Savile Row tailoring - foundations that continue to shape her approach to modern sleepwear.
I love experimenting with details that truly bring the products to life, and I am obsessed with creating a product that the wearer will truly love – something that they can have and hold for so many years to come.
Inspired by the contemporary idea of “his shirt for her,” Sherri reimagined pyjamas where comfort and style coexist. Years of research led to the development of Wanderluxe’s signature bespoke cotton–modal blend, recognised for its exceptional softness, breathability, and longevity now a defining hallmark of the brand.
A mother to twin boys, Sherri launched Wanderluxe from home before opening the brand’s first bricks-and-mortar boutique in Armadale, a defining moment in both the business and her personal journey. Today, she remains hands-on, travelling internationally to research fabrics, colours, and emerging design directions, while obsessing over the details that ensure every Wanderluxe garment is beautifully made, thoughtfully designed, and created to stand the test of time.
